Airport check-in

Pet health and safety
Pets must be healthy and fit for air travel. BermudAir may refuse transport if an animal appears unwell, aggressive, or unable to travel safely.

When travelling from Bermuda to Canada, customers are advised to complete the required forms from the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to ensure their pet meets all entry requirements.
Anguilla
Pets travelling to and from Anguilla may require additional documentation, including government-issued import permits and advance veterinary clearance. Customers are strongly encouraged to begin this process early and ensure all entry requirements are met prior to travel. To apply for a permit, please visit the Anguilla Department of Agriculture.
United States
When travelling to or from the United States, pets must meet CDC entry requirements. This may include a CDC Dog Import Form, proof of rabies vaccination, and a valid microchip. If a passenger voluntarily cancels or changes their flight, refund eligibility for the pet service will follow the same rules as the fare family purchased.
If BermudAir cancels a flight, makes an involuntary change, or is unable to provide the pet travel service for operational reasons, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the passenger and pet on an alternative flight or provide a full refund of the pet service fee where applicable.
Important: BermudAir reserves the right to refuse transport of any animal that does not meet applicable safety, documentation, health, behavioural, or carrier requirements.
