BermudAir Aviation Internship Program

The BermudAir Aviation Internship Program is a structured 12-week summer internship designed to give Bermudian students valuable hands-on exposure to the aviation industry while building a future talent pipeline for BermudAir. Through early insight into airline operations, industry standards, and the wide range of career opportunities available in aviation, the program helps students develop practical workplace experience and essential professional skills. By bridging the gap between education and real-world aviation careers, the BermudAir Aviation Internship Program is designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of aviation professionals in Bermuda.

Rotation Blueprint

  1. Maintenance & Engineering (3 wks): shadow licensed engineers, maintenance planning, reliability data, supervised documentation tasks ​

  2. Flight Operations (2 wks): crew planning, OCC exposure, operational control processes ​

  3. Ground Operations (2 wks): turnaround coordination, ramp workflows, on-time performance initiatives ​

  4. Customer Experience (2 wks): check-in & boarding, CSAT analysis, service recovery scenarios (NPS-style survey) ​

  5. Commercial & Revenue (1.5 wks): network basics, pricing, demand analysis, route profitability ​

  6. Safety & Compliance (1.5 wks): SMS overview, reporting culture, audits and risk assessments
